Mayans

The project brief was to design a range of garments for womenswear Streetwear for A/W'22, taking inspiration from one civilisation, keeping up it's essence. Following the research and design process.

The purpose was to learn how the ancient civilisations have always been inspiring to be a part of design and continue acknowledging them.

The inspiration in this project has been taken from Mayan Civilisation. The elements taken are The Mayan Calendar, Mayan Pyramids, Mayan Hieroglyphics, their colours, materials used and what ancient Mayan people wore.
